Once Upon A Nerd
This is where I will vomit all my useless thoughts while occupying the internet. It is a place for movie, game, comic, and all related nerd things to be weighed and debated. I know I suck, so its ok to tell me so.

Does It Bother Anyone Else That...
...That you see things like this? Snape with the symbol of the deathly hallows on or about him? Or when you see the symbol and then the quote "Always" under it? Why do people think those things go hand in hand? To the best of my knowledge there isnt ever really any mention of Snape being a believer in the Hallows. And the quote "Always" was him talking about his love for Lily. It has nothing, in any way, shape, or form, to do with the Hallows or their symbol. So why the fuck do people keep putting them together?

Olivia Munn Cast As Psylocke In X-Men: Apocalypse
Its official. Fox announced that Olivia Munn would be donning the role of the purple haired Brit, Betsy Braddock. Im gonna go ahead and say bad choice. Sure she is a name that will draw attention but not for her acting skills. Not to mention I dont think she has done any sort of action at all in her career. This is as equally bad of a casting as Channing Tatum as Gambit. His only saving grace, being that he actually has done action roles.
I think there are a couple other actresses that would have been perfect for the role. My number one pick would probably be Katrina Law.
She has an action background staring in Arrow and Spartacus respectively. Her acting chops arent horrible either. I at least know she could pull off an English accent, where as I cringe at the thought of what might come out of Munn's mouth. Unless of course, they do what they did with Emma Frost in First Class, and make her American (January Jones.... *face-palm*).
My second choice would have probably been Kristen Kreuk.
She as well is no stranger to action roles, having played both Chun-Li, and Lana Lang. I firmly believe in her ability to pull off a series role, as well as her ability to do accents.
Not fully sure what Singer was thinking with some of these castings. I feel very much he nailed it with the young cast of the core team, but then again was confused by him making Gambit and Psylocke so much older. In Gambit's case, Im wondering if they will make him a horseman? I would definitely be a fan of that. Where as with Psylocke, I fear, she will just be a bit part. A cameo, placed in by studio exec. pressure. I would have much rather they held off adding Psylocke till they made an X-Force movie.
Those are just my humble opinions. Let me know what you guys think in the comments. Is Olivia Munn right for this role? What do you think of my choices? Someone else in mind you think would be a better choice?
